Warm clothing and toys for Ukrainian people

A huge thanks to everyone who responded to our latest appeal for children’s toys for Ukrainian orphans. Your generosity has been overwhelming, with donations of toys for all ages—boys and girls alike.

Thanks to your incredible support, we are delighted to share that over 60 bags and boxes of toys will be heading to Ukraine next week with our trusted volunteer contact, John McKenna.

A very special thanks goes to the members of Linlithgow Rugby Club, who contributed 30 of the 60 bags/boxes. Your generosity has doubled the impact of this appeal and will bring joy to countless children this festive season.

Together, we are making a difference—bringing hope, comfort, and smiles to those who need them most.

John McKenna drove all the way to Kyiv to deliver the warm clothing collected in Linlithgow and Cumbernauld by the Rotary Club of Linlithgow & Bo’ness. Around a third of collection (101 bin liner bags) came from members of the Rugby Club and so the Honorary Certificate presented by the Mayor of Kyiv (former world heavyweight boxer Vitali Klychko) to the Rotary Club of Linlithgow & Bo’ness is shared with all in the Rugby Club who contributed. Thanks!
