On Sunday, all the Wee Reds teams – P4 to P7 Minis and P1 to P3 Micros – travelled through to Falkirk for a superb festival of rugby.
Here are match reports from two of the teams – P4s and P6s.
Wee Reds P4 report
Report by Paul Millar

Linlithgow Rugby’s P4 squad travelled to Falkirk to take on their county neighbours – and what a performance it was! With 20 players split into three teams, and with each team winning all 3 of their matches, the Reds made it a clean sweep across the board.
Every single player managed to cross the try line, showing great attacking flair and teamwork. Even more pleasing for the coaches was the tackling – after focusing hard on this in training over the last two weeks, the youngsters put their skills into action, chopping down opposition runners with real commitment.
The coaches were absolutely delighted with the effort, determination and listening shown by the squad. To top it off, the players were rewarded for their hard work with a well-earned sausage roll after the matches – smiles all round!
Another proud day for Linlithgow Rugby P4s!
Wee Reds P6 Minis report from Falkirk
Report by Gordon White

Last Sunday, the P6s made the short trip to Falkirk for their latest match. Despite it being holiday weekend and a scout camp being on, the squad still travelled in numbers to take on their local neighbours.
In lovely conditions and on a nice grassy pitch, the P6s put on a near perfect performance winning the match comfortably, while only conceding 2 tries.
Once again, the effort in defence was clear to see. For example, there was a brilliant period of defensive play in the third quarter of the match, when Falkirk broke through and looked certain to score. However, the full team of Reds managed to quickly get back and defend their try line aggressively putting in tackle after tackle, eventually forcing Falkirk into touch.
A special shout out for Archie, completing his first full game for the Reds, with a superb stand out performance including rucking perfectly on numerous occasions.
The less said about Zac’s outrageous swan dive try celebration the better! van der Merwe eat your heart out.
After the game, the team enjoyed taking over the clubhouse bar eating their sausage rolls while recovering from another superb team showing.
Thanks to Falkirk for their great hospitality.
