Six Linlithgow players showed off their rugby talents over the last two weekends as they took part in two rounds of U16 regional academy games at Stirling and Gala.  Pictured above (L to R) Fraser Willoughby, Thomas Junik, Duncan Hughes, Ali McCorkell, Ewan Smith (for Edinburgh) and Rory Dunn (for Caledonia) all played in a round robin format of games with all four regional academies involved. The games themselves were the culmination of months of training that started last summer and formed part of the selection process for the forthcoming two rounds of 1872 cup games which sees Edinburgh join up with Borders and East Lothian to field a combined Edinburgh squad, against a combined Glasgow / West of Scotland plus players from Caledonia. The 1872 games are due to be played on the 6 and 13 April at Dalziel Rugby Club.
