Linlithgow Pool Matches:

• Currie 40-5 loss
• Lismore 34-7 win
• Earlston 32-0 win

Finished second in group, so went into Inverleith Bowl competition:

• Gala YM 42-5 win (Bowl Semi)
• Boroughmuir 35-24 win (Bowl Final)

Good effort from the Reds’ team despite no 7s preparation due to extended 15s season and the focus on that. Drawing Currie first up probably wasn’t the ideal start to allow the guys to get their 7s heads on.

All the players in the squad contributed significantly throughout the tournament. Ruaridh Stewart was the stand-out player for the Reds (Baggie Blues) in terms of finishing and tries. The team expertly coached by DUNCAN Thomson on the day!
